Our base machines are dual 5160, 2x2 core machines, each equal to about 8 Pentium 4 3GHz machines. Our base machines have 4 GB of RAM running XP64.
 

Best Value! We do not charge extra fees for multiple cores.
We charge $5/hr for 4-core, 3GHz 5160 series machines minimum. Others charge 50 cents per GHz-hour or $2 per core-hour, usually for CPUs that benchmark much lower than ours. Sometimes you have to read the fine print to discover that they multiply by 2 or 4 for multi-core CPUs. Be sure to compare and multiply by the number of CPUs, Cores, GHZ and other factors to get the real hourly price - it is typically $15-30! Also be sure to check make of CPU - you can use V-Ray benchmarks to discover the real world speed ratio for rendering, often you will find older technology CPUs are in use.
